THE ANNUAL EXTRAVAGANZA OF EIS
Annual Concert is the highlight of the academic year that culminates into an occasion of celebration and festivity. The Annual Concert 2019-20 of Elpro International School was a week-long fiesta held from the 17th to 22nd of December.
The primary section witnessed a gallant concert which was woven around the theme of ‘Jungle Book’ and ‘Lion King’. The young students dressed as the various characters from the fantastical animated world brought the animal kingdom to life. Children's favourite characters danced and grooved recreating the magic of the epic adventures of the jungles.
On the other hand, the senior secondary section gave rise to a cultural fusion through the beautiful theme of 'Bharat Ek Khoj'. The event brought all the dance forms from the heart of India to one platform. The performers took to the stage and dazzled the audience with their striking performances. With dance numbers varying from Garba, Ghoomar, Lavani, Bihu to Bhangra et al, the audience enjoyed a wide range of dance performances.
The school MPH was abuzz with vibrant vibes and students’ excitement soared through the roof. Overall, students executed an impressive show by putting forward an entertaining concert that was blended with theatrical elements as well.
Performances truly draw the best out of students that allow them to take on the stage with brimming confidence. The Annual Concert 2019-20 of EIS was a huge success where a whopping number of 3500 students mesmerized everyone with their dancing skills and exceptional talents in a total of 23 shows.
Dr. Amrita Vohra on the occasion congratulated the students for their hard work and commitment that made the occasion a memorable one. The Annual Concert is a huge undertaking for teachers, students, team of choreographers and parents, whose combined efforts make the entire experience of the Annual Concert a worthwhile one.
